Project Manager

An exciting opportunity in a very successful IT Asset Management Consultancy business that is the fastest growing in the UK.  We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver into client engagements across multiple industry sectors including finance, government, defence, healthcare and the private sector.


Role Duties

  • Your responsibilities will include delivering every project on time within budget and scope and ensuring excellence in service delivery of ongoing services.  You should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis
  • You should be skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects/services that you oversee and thrive when planning projects and working with project teams
  • Good client and partner communications is key.  Building relationships and clear, professional verbal and written communication
  • A great client engagement delivers on time, within budget, leads to customer satisfaction and repeat business.



  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties (inc. vendors) for the flawless execution of projects and services
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Manage the relationship with partners, the end client and all stakeholders with proactive communications keeping all parties involved throughout the project lifecycle
  • Involvement pre-sales regarding project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Development and ownership of a project plan and service delivery plan to track and report progress
  • Effective management of changes in scope, schedule and costs internally and with partners and clients
  • Measure performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Consistent and regular status reporting to management
  • Risk management and timely escalation of issues to management
  • Create and maintain project and also service documentation.



  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager and/or Service Delivery Manager
  • Strong IT technical background
  • Knowledge of ITAM, SAM and/or ITSM would be very beneficial
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel and work at customer sites
  • Previous experience of managing projects in the Public Sector
  • SC Clearance required
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
